Agua Piedra Campground

Tucked into the trees at 8,100 feet, Agua Piedra Campground is a perfect destination for mountain lovers. It is located in the Carson National Forest on the edge of the Pecos Wilderness in northeastern New Mexico. Agua Piedra features 42 standard campsites, two double sites, a horse corral, and two large group sites including a historic warming hut. Come enjoy hiking trails, great trout fishing, and plenty of shade to beat the summer heat! It is open May-September and reservations are required.
