Mesilla’s roots are traced back to the mid 1800s, with its earliest settlers populating the town after the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. Today, many of Mesilla’s residents are direct descendants of its early settlers and are proud to welcome visitors to their town where tradition is alive and well.
