Canjilon Lakes Day-Use Site & Campground

East of Canjilon, the Canjilon Lakes Day-Use Site & Campground offers 41 campsites near the shores of several small ponds and three larger lakes at 9900 feet. Visitors can enjoy the Upper Lakes picnic areas, camp, fish, and explore the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail (CDT) that winds its way through the Carson National Forest for over 100 miles, from the Rio Chama up to the New Mexico/Colorado border. This recreation area is open from Memorial Day through late October or early November.
