Jacks Creek Campground

High in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Jacks Creek Campground sits amid an aspen and pine forest, offering visitors the ultimate mountain experience. Jacks Creek is near the headwaters of the Pecos River and the boundary of the Pecos Wilderness, providing access to 350 square miles of protected peaks, canyons and forests. The Jacks Creek Horse Camp is the only equestrian campground on the Santa Fe National Forest. Sitting at nearly 9,000 feet, the campground provides a cool, mountain escape.
