Echo Amphitheater and Campground

Echo Amphitheater is a natural amphitheater located on the Carson National Forest approximately 15 miles northwest of Abiquiu. This impressive sandstone theater creates amazing echoes! Streaks of mineral varnish have left vivid red vertical stripes down the cliff wall, providing a colorful contrast to the sandstone cliff.
